Abstract

Farmers Exchange in East Java

One indicator to measure the welfare of farmers in rural areas is an indicator Farmers Exchange (NTP). Farmers Exchange in East Java fell 1.39 percent in December 2014 compared to November of 105.88 into 104.41. This is due to the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) is higher than the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It). In December 2014, four sub-sectors of agriculture decreased NTP and the rest rose. NTP largest decline occurred in the sub-sector of the People's Plantations of 2.71 percent from 105.27 into subsectors Ranch 102.42 followed by 2.05 percent from 112.01 into 109.72, horticulture sub-sector amounted to 1.96 percent of 104.23 and 106.32 into fisheries sub-sector amounted to 1.63 percent from 105.39 into 103.67. While the sub-sectors that experienced kenaikam NTP Food Crops sub-sector is 0.20 percent from 100.56 into 100.77.

Index of prices received by farmers rose 1.52 percent from 121.50 in November to 123.35 in December 2014. The increase is due to higher index index of prices received by farmers in all sub-sectors of agriculture. Food Crops sub-sector experienced the largest increase is 3.16 percent, fisheries sub-sector by 2.15 per cent, sub-sector Ranch of 0.89 percent, sub se ktor of 0.81 percent of Horticulture and Plantation Crops sub-sectors of the People of 0.14 percent.

Ten major commodities that cause an increase in the index of prices received by farmers in December 2014 Grain, Cayenne pepper, tuna, flying fish, beef, citrus fruit, shrimp, milk, cloves, and tilapia. While commodity price index declines received by farmers are mangoes, vegetables cabbage / kale, cocoa, patchouli oil, sugar cane, crab, fish kuniran, mullets, tomatoes, and fruits.

Index of prices paid by farmers increased by 2.95 percent from 114.76 in November to 118.15 in December 2014. The increase is due to the increase in the index price index for household consumption (rural inflation) of 3.23 percent, and increase in production costs and the price index of capital goods formation (BPPBM) of 2.30 percent.

Ten major commodities that cause an increase in the index of prices paid by farmers month of December 2014 is solar, cayenne pepper, gasoline, rice, red peppers, red onions, motorcycles, ice cubes, seeds broiler, and freight. While commodity price index declines which paid farmers are fruits, mango, chicken, shrimp, vegetables, kale, installation costs PLN group 1, cabbage / cauliflower, watermelon, wages transport to the fish auction, and vegetable mustard.

Of the five provinces in Java that perform calculations NTP in December 2014, four Provincial decreased NTP and the rest rose. NTP largest decline occurred in the province of Yogyakarta Special Region of 2.16 percent, East Java Province of 1.39 percent, Central Java Province of 0.76 percent, and the province of West Java by 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province has increased by 0.71 percent.

On average NTP East Java in 2014 increased by 0.14 percent compared to the year 2013 ie from 104.60 into 104.75. The increase was due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (7.35 percent) is greater than the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers (7.20 percent
