Abstract

During the month of December 2014 the number of tourists in East Java from the entrance Juanda rose by 4.15 percent, while TPK-star hotels declined by 3.73 points.

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) who came to East Java through the entrance Juanda in December 2014 to reach 19 084 visits, up by 4.15 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in November 2014 that as many as 18.324kunjungan. Cumulatively, the number of tourists from January to December 2014 to reach 217.193kunjungan or decreased by 3.49 percent compared to the number of tourists in the same period of 2013 to reach 225 041 visits.

In December 2014 the largest foreign tourists Malaysian nationality, jumlahnyamencapai 5,239 visits or decreased by 9.20 percent, followed by Singapore nationality 2,799 visits, up 26.77 percent, and the Chinese nationality as 1.076kunjungan, down 4.95 percent compared to the month of November 2014.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star in East Java in Desember2014 reached 49.51 percent, down 3.73 points compared to the ROR in November 2014 which reached 53.24 percent. According to the classification of stars, TPK 5 star hotel in the month of December 2014 reached 59.18 percent and the highest TPK TPK-star hotel than the other. Furthermore TPK 4 at 56.62 percent, followed by 53.24 percent 2sebesar star hotel, then 3 for 42.55 percent, and 1-star hotel for 32.68 percent.

The average length of stay (RLMT) Foreign in five-star hotel in December 2014 to reach 2.94 days, down by 0.14 points compared with the month of November 2014 which amounted to 3.08 days. To RLMT Indonesia in December 2014 to reach 1.65 days, decreased 0.14 points compared to November 2014 at 1.79 days. Overall RLMT in December 2014 at 1.73 the day down 0.12 points compared to November 2014 reached 1.85 days.
