Deflation
occurs due to a decrease in the price indicated by a decrease in
expenditure group indices, namely: foodstuffs at 0.80 percent, followed
by clothing group by 0.46 percent, processed foods, beverages,
cigarettes, and tobacco by 0.17 percent, health
group by 0.06 percent, while the expenditure of inflation are:
education, recreation, and sports by 0.08 percent, followed by housing,
water, electricity, gas, and fuel by 0.03 percent, while transport, communications, and financial services, no changes in price / index.
The
top commodity price increases so as to provide the largest share of the
inflation in Pasuruan in April 2014 include: eggs, chicken, milk for
toddlers, cooking oil, tuna / ambu-ambu, sugar, watermelon, beef, grilled fish / dazed, and potatoes.
Commodity prices decline to provide the largest share of deflation
are: cayenne pepper, lemon, chicken meat, beans, gold jewelry, squid,
papaya, red peppers, milk / cakes and snacks / snack.

percent and the inflation rate year-to-year period (April 2014 to April
2013) Pasuruan by 7,10 percent.
