Abstract

During the month of January 2015 the number of tourists in East Java from the entrance Juanda fell by 19.48 per cent, while TPK-star hotels decreased by 1.68 poinJumlah foreign tourists (tourists) who came to East Java through the entrance Juanda in January 2015 to reach 15 366 visits or decreased by 19.48 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in December 2014 that as many as 19.084kunjungan. When compared with the same period the previous year, the number of visits by foreign tourists in January 2015 fell by 8.92 percent.

In January 2015 Malaysian nationality largest foreign tourists, the number reached 2,796 visits or a decrease of 46.63 percent, followed by Singapore nationality 1.280kunjungan or down 54.27 percent, and as many as 1,053 visits of Chinese nationality or down 2.14 percent compared to the month of December 2014.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star in East Java in January 2015mencapai 47.83 percent, down 1.68 points compared to the ROR in December 2014 which reached 49.51 percent. According to the classification of the star, 4 star hotel TPK in January 2015 is the highest compared TPK TPK other star hotels reached 65.79 percent. 2 star TPK followed by 48.55 percent, 48.36 percent 5sebesar star hotel, then 3 amounted to 37.54 percent, and a 1-star hotel for 24.63 percent.
