One indicator to measure the welfare of farmers in rural areas is an indicator Farmers Exchange (NTP). Farmers Exchange in East Java in January 2015 rose by 0.79 percent compared to December of 104.41 into 105.23. This
is due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It)
is greater than the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers
(Ib). Index of prices received by farmers rose 0.72 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers fell by 0.07 percent. When
compared with the month of January 2014, the development of the NTP
Month January 2015 (year-on-year) increased by 0.37 percent. While NTP month of January 2015 compared to December 2014 (year kalenderJanuari) increased by 0.79 percent. Farmers Exchange (NTP) East Java Month January 2015 rose 0.79 percent.

(It) is higher than the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers

In January 2015, all sub-sectors of agriculture has increased NTP. The
increase occurred in the largest NTP fisheries sub-sector amounted to
1.59 percent from 103.67 into subsectors Ranch 105.32 followed by 0.99
percent from 109.72 into 110.80, People Plantation Crops sub-sector
amounted to 0.85 percent of 102.42 be 103.29, Food Crops sub-sector by 0.79 percent from 101.57
and 100.77 into sub-sectors of Horticulture at 0.38 percent from 104.23
into 104.63.
Index of prices received by farmers rose 0.72 percent over the month of December 2014 is from 123.35 to 124.24. The increase is due to higher index index of prices received by farmers in all sub-sectors of agriculture. People
Plantation Crops sub-sector rose 0.92 percent terbesaryaitu, followed
by sub-sector of Food Plants of 0.81 percent, fisheries sub-sector by
0.75 per cent, sub-sector Ranch 0.72 percent, and 0.44 horticulture
sub-sector percent.
Ten
major commodities that cause an increase in the index of prices
received by farmers in January 2015 is a mango, swanggi fish, beef, fish
oil sardine, citrus fruits, sugar cane, rice, corn, coffee, and fish
kuniran. While the ten major commodity price index declines received by farmers
are apples, cayenne pepper, shrimp, red chilli, cotton, cocoa, tuna,
onion, fish kurisi, and mackerel.
Ten
major commodities that cause an increase in the index of prices paid by
farmers in January 2015adalah eggs, rice, tomatoes, seeds banding /
milkfish fry, chicken, outboard motors, cigarette filters, bran, indigo
seeds, and seedlings broiler. While the ten major commodity price index declines which paid farmers
are diesel, gasoline, cayenne pepper, red chili, motorcycles, shrimp,
carp seeds, beans, pellets, and seed catfish.
Of
the five provinces in Java that perform calculations NTP in January
2015, the four Provincial increased NTP and the rest declined. The
increase was greatest NTP in East Java province at 0.79 percent,
followed by the Special Province of Yogyakarta and West Java province
respectively by 0.75 percent, and Central Java Province of 0.62 percent.
While Banten decreased by 0.03 percent.
