In December 2014 East Java experienced inflation of 2.38 percent. From 8 cities CPI in East Java, all cities experiencing inflation. The
highest inflation was in Malang for 2,72persen, followed by 2.64
percent Jember, Sumenep 2,60 percent, Kediri at 2,52persen, Banyuwangi
by 2.50 per cent, at 2.23 percent Surabaya, Madiun at 2.20 percent, and Probolinggo of 2.15 percent.
Of the seven expenditure groups, all with inflation. Inflation
was padakelompok transport, communications and financial services by
4.98 percent, followed by 3.24 percent kelompokbahan food, housing,
water, electricity, gas and fuel by 1.71 percent, food, drinks and

deflation are fruits, boiled cob, sweet corn, mobile phones, orange,
watermelon, young jackfruit, cooking oil, bean sprouts, and internet

Of
6 provincial capital on the island of Java, all cities experienced
inflation and low inflation occurred in the city of Yogyakarta at 1.76
percent. The highest inflation was in town for 3,07persen Serang, followed by
the city of 2.74 percent of Jakarta, Semarang at 2.40 percent, 2.34
percent and kotaBandung of Surabaya at 2.23 percent.
Of the 82 cities nationwide CPI, all cities experiencing inflation. Five
cities are experiencing inflasitertinggi that Merauke by 4.53 percent,
4.26 percent Jayapura, Gorontalo of 4.12 percent, 3.83 percent and
Manado Pare-pare of 3.75 percent. While the 5 cities with the lowest inflation of 1.17 percent is
Meulaboh, Tual of 1.43 percent, 1.63 percent Banjarmasin, Tegal of 1.66
percent, 1.66 percent and Dumai.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (December 2013-December 2014)
reached 7.77 persen.Angka East Java is higher than the rate of inflation
(December 2012-December 2013) amounted to 7.59 percent.
Ten commodities that contributed most to the inflation during 2014 was
gasoline, electricity, household fuel, rice, local transportation, air
transportation, cement, red pepper, noodles, and eggs.
Ten

onion, sugar, gold jewelry, cell phones, watermelon, grapes, coconut,
sweet corn, boiled mackerel, and fish mernying.
