In the month of February 2015 in East Java deflation of 0.52 percent. All cities CPI in East Java, experiencing deflation. The
highest deflation occurred in Banyuwangi for 1,02persen, followed
Kediri of 0.83 percent, 0.57 percent Malang, Sumenep of 0.56 percent,
0.54 percent Jember, Madiun of 0.51 percent. While the lowest deflation at Surabaya and Probolinggo each of 0.42 percent.
Of the seven groups of expenditure, the two groups experienced deflation. Group
expenditure deflation is a group of transport, communications and
financial services by 2.23 percent, and foodstuffs by 1.36 percent. While
the group with the highest inflation in the clothing category at 0.69
percent, followed by food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.37
percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.30 percent,
health of 0.24 percent, and inflation was lowest in education, recreation and sports by 0.08 percent.
Commodities which provides the largest share of deflation is gasoline,
cayenne pepper, red chili, local transportation, air transportation,
eggs, onion, diesel, cement and potatoes.
Commodities
which provides the largest share of inflation is rice, electricity
rates, car, gold jewelry, motorcycles, wine, mattresses, maintenance /
service vehicles, cakes, and parking rates. Rice experienced significant price increases, especially at
week-February 4 due to the reduced supply of rice in the market and the
high demand for rice from outside East Java.

Singaraja for 0,42persen.
