Abstract

The economy of Pasuruan City in 2023, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 10,399.88 billion, while GRDP at constant prices reached IDR 6,637.08 billion.

Pasuruan City's economy in 2023 will be able to expand by 5.65 percent compared to 2022. In terms of production, the highest expansion occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field at 10.33 percent, while the lowest contraction occurred in the Mining and Quarrying Business Field at -72.83 percent. From the expenditure side, growth occurred in almost all components except Inventory Change which fell by -0.87 percent.

Pasuruan City's economic structure is still dominated by wholesale and retail trade, car and motorbike repair at 29.64 percent, followed by processing industry at 20.15 percent, transportation and warehousing at 8.28 percent, information and communication at 7. 81 percent, and Financial Services and Insurance at 6.81 percent. The role of these five business fields in the economy of Pasuruan City can reach 72.69 percent or can be said to contribute almost three-quarters of the overall economic productivity.
