One of the activities carried out by the Pasuruan BPS in March is the National Socio-Economic Survey Data Collection (Susenas), where the process begins with the household updating stage in 57 selected census blocks in Pasuruan City which will be held from 6 to 13 March 2022.
At this stage, Susenas officers carry out door to door updates with the aim of identifying the presence of households that are on the March 2022 Susenas update list, to find out whether the household is still in the Census Block (BS) or not. In addition, this identification stage also recognizes the existence of new households that are included in the BS.
To maintain data quality, supervision and field supervision were also carried out during the household updating process. This was done to minimize officer errors in the field and also to help resolve problems found by enumerators in the field.
With good coordination and cooperation, the Susenas household updating activity went smoothly and prepared for the next stage, namely enumeration of a household sample of 10 households per census block.
