In order to prepare for the 2023 Agricultural Census, BPS organized the updating of the Geospatial Framework and Contents of the Statistical Work Area as a basis for planning the implementation of ST23.

The training activity for the Updating Officer of the geospatial framework and wilkerstat in Pasuruan City was opened by the leadership of the Pasuruan BPS, namely Mrs. Sri Kadarwati, S.Si., M.T on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Horison Hotel. The training activity was attended by 51 officers who were divided into two waves.

It was also stated at the opening that the 2023 wilkerstat update in East Java used a mitigation strategy for overlapping regional boundaries called the Samber Nyowo Reborn War Strategy (SPSN Reborn). Taking inspiration from Prince Samber Nyowo, who attacked the Netherlands from the edge of the territory, then proceeded to the midst of the guerrillas, so that it is hoped that the updating officer will map the boundaries correctly and produce good map digitization.
