Abstract

In January 2022 there were no foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition is the same as the conditions in December 2021.
The number of foreign tourists visiting in January 2022 also decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2021 which reached 20 visits.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in East Java in January 2022 reached an average of 44.71 percent or decreased by 11.03 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5 (five) star hotels is 47.72 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star classified hotels in East Java in January 2022 reached an average of 21.23 percent, an increase of 4.19 points compared to the previous month.
The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star classification hotels during January 2022 was recorded at 1.93 days or an increase of 0.46 points when compared to December 2021 which reached 1.47 days. The overall RLMT in January 2022 was 1.45 days or an increase of 0.08 points compared to December 2021 which was 1.37 days.
