Abstract

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) has increased from August 2019 by 5.06 percent to 6.33 percent in August 2020, this means that there are 6 unemployed people out of 100 people in the workforce in Pasuruan City.
The number of the Workforce reached 108,511 people, in line with the increase in the workforce, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased, the TPAK for August 2020 was 70.05 percent, an increase of 2.14 percentage points compared to last year. The increase in the TPAK provides an indication of the economic potential in terms of increasing supply of labor
Formal workers, namely those who try to be assisted by permanent workers and who become laborers / employees / employees. There are 57,531 people (56.60 percent) formal workers. Meanwhile, there were 44,113 people who worked in the sector in informal activities (including self-employed, assisted by temporary laborers, casual workers, and unpaid workers) (43.40 percent).
