PODES 2025: Strategic Data for More Targeted Village/Sub-District Development

On Friday and Monday, May 23 and 26, 2025, BPS Pasuruan City held a hybrid (online and offline) training for Village Development Data Update (PODES) 2025 officers. This training aims to provide officers with technical and conceptual understanding related to PODES indicators and fundamental changes to this year's questionnaire.

PODES 2025 plays an important role in providing village/sub-district potential data, updating the Village Master File (MFD), village classification, and compiling the Geographic Difficulty Index (IKG). This data is the basis for regional development policies, including identifying disaster-prone villages and areas with geographical difficulties.

With this training, it is hoped that all officers will be able to oversee the data collection process carefully and uniformly, so that PODES data truly reflects real conditions in the field.
