SAKERNAS August 2021 Training and Antigen SWAB

From Wednesday (4/8) to Friday (6/8), a National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) training was held online via Zoom Meeting. The training was attended by 27 participants from organic and statistical partners of BPS Pasuruan City.

SAKERNAS produces strategic employment data that is awaited by the government and stakeholders as a basis for policy making, especially during the current pandemic. So that officers must collect data accurately and seriously, so that the resulting data is able to reflect the real conditions in the field. For this reason, for 3 days the officers were provided with materials related to the concept and definition of the August 2021 Sakernas guided by the regional instructor for the Coordinator of the Social Statistics Function, Puguh Prijatno Widodo, S.Si.

Furthermore, on Monday (9/8), an antigen swab test was carried out to all officers of the August 2021 National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS). During the Covid-19 pandemic, this process was always carried out before the officers started to collect data in the field.

This is to anticipate the spread of Covid-19 and provide security and comfort for both officers and respondents. Officers will also be equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain health protocols during data collection.
