Implementation of the Quarterly Survey of Business Activity Services Sector (STKU-SJ)

In 2014, a survey will be conducted quarterly service sector business activity (STKU-SJ) which is a continuation of a special survey quarterly balance of production (SKTNP) services sector in 2013, given the need for quarterly data is urgent and indispensable. Compilers of gross domestic product with quarterly period was long, but the data services sector in particular quarterly production lot that has not been available, either by CBS and other agencies.

Research STKU-SJ 2014 performed at the company / business disubsektor hotels, restaurants sub-sector, sub-sector social services, entertainment and recreation services subsector, as well as services subsector of individuals and households. With a shorter time interval, allowing information business activities in those sectors will more quickly available and turbulent activity can be observed in more detail. Observations on the development of the business through STKU-SJ conducted in 11 provinces one of East Java.

In general the purpose of carrying out special surveys balance of this expenditure is for the calculation of GDP spending up to district / city level.

This survey aims to obtain the latest and fastest information on indicators of production, price and indikatot other indicators that will be used in the preparation of GDP triwulawan. The event, which became the main focus of the quarterly survey of service sector activity (STKU-SJ) 2014 is the activity in the form of services, especially those that do not have a regular production indicators in quarterly GDP constituent. The output indicators will be obtained by looking at developments in the survey enumeration period four times in one year activities.

From the results of the survey is expected to obtain the latest and fastest information in the form of data quantity indicator of production and price indicators quarterly. Evaluation of the results of the study will be conducted to floating next survey.
